Carrie Johnson has over 20 years of experience in the legal and real estate industry. She grew up on the Chesapeake Bay in Southern Maryland and moved to South Carolina in 1993. 

She has a paralegal degree and also earned a social sciences degree from the University of SC. She worked as a paralegal and subsequently an underwriter for a mortgage lender for almost 15 years. Her work as a mortgage underwriter provided her with extensive knowledge of every aspect of real estate transactions, including mortgage guidelines, contracts, market values, appraisals, and closing procedures. Her high ethical standards and strong attention to detail led her to become a trustworthy, honest, and reliable real estate agent.
