With its close proximity to schools, the public library and with its own pool, Pierce Park is one of the more popular Daniel Island neighborhoods for families. More than 23 miles of shoreline on tidal creeks and the Wando and Cooper Rivers make the island a top spot for shrimping, crabbing, fishing, and boating as well.
