A community of single-family homes, Laurel Hill Plantation is a well-established neighborhood with many of its houses backing up to, or having views of the sparkling waters of Goose Creek Reservoir.

The neighborhood is a great place to raise a family, with a community boat ramp providing access to the boating and fishing pleasure on the nearby 600-acre Reservoir.
City of Goose Creek recreational facilities include Crowfield Golf Plantation, one of the finest municipal courses in the South. Laurel Hill is also a particularly attractive neighborhood for anyone working at the Naval Weapons Station Charleston, including the Naval Nuclear Power School, Naval Nuclear Power Training Command, and SPAWAR (Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command).
